To my brilliant blogging friends!

Filed under: Special events, What it's like to be me — elitist @ 4:08 pm

Well, I am a happy person! I took eleven months off from my blog as I finished college and started grad school, and I’m back and reading and blogging and loving every minute, and as if that weren’t enough I wind up on the receiving end of a sweet gesture like this!

I received this from Iliana, the BookGirl herself! It gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling to begin with, but to receive it from such a wonderful blog is even better still! So everyone show her some love if you haven’t already!
*
And as Iliana said herself, I wish I could pass it on to everyone in my Blogroll, but that would defeat the purpose! So, as much as I love all of my friends, I pass this on to:
*
Dani, of A Work In Progress: As I often say about she and Iliana both, reading their blogs feels like settling in with a nice cup of coffee (or hot chocolate, in my case!) and talking books with an old friend.
*
Matthew, of A Guy’s Moleskine Notebook: He always has brilliant things to say and really puts his all into his blogging.
*
And Adrienne, of Bookmark My Heart: I’m not sure why or how, but I have bonded with her as closely as any other friend I know only through blogging. If a blog can accomplish that, that’s really saying something!
*
Pass on the love, my lovely friends!

  1. I’m so flattered Jordan. I’m glad my babblings can inspire readers to read more and more. :)

  2. Thanks very much–I’m flattered as well! And your sentiments express exactly how I feel, too, about blogging and the great people I’ve met. It’s so nice to be in the company of people who feel the same way as I do about books! :)

  3. Ah, wouldn’t it be nice to sit together and share in all the bookishness :)
Hope you are having a great day and really it’s great to see you back in blogland!
